Master English 1 year Full time
What’s the master programme about?
The Environment and Resource Management (ERM) Master’s trains you to become part of the next generation of environmental leaders who work on the sustainability challenges of our time; become familiar with several key Environmental Sciences and Resource Management disciplines and learn to integrate different bodies of knowledge in a solution-oriented way; the programme is taught in English and is open to students from all academic disciplines and nationalities.
In the videos, teachers explain important themes that will be covered in the programme.
During the programme, you can determine your own focus by choosing a specialisation. Select from Global Food Challenges, Energy and Climate, Global Water Challenges, or Ecosystem Services and Biodiversity. If you want to broaden your knowledge in all these disciplines, you can opt for the Global Sustainable Futures specialisation.
You can find all course descriptions, the year schedule and the teaching and examination regulation in the Study guide.
Careers as consultants, NGO leaders, entrepreneurs, ministry officials or international civil servants. Some students continue in academia by starting a PhD.
If you like to pursue a PhD later, ERM is not an ideal option for you. In this case we would advise you to check another Master programme at IVM called: Global Environmental Change and Policy
