Summary
Cecilia Zagaria is a PhD student in the Environmental Geography group where she started working in April 2015. Her current research is focusing on modelling and assessing drivers and impacts of land use change within European cultural landscapes, in contribution to the HERCULES project. Prior to employment within the group, Cecilia focused her academic training on exploring spatial dynamics of land use change and ecosystem service provision. Her MSc thesis involved modelling the potential of sustainable land management practices in fostering priority ecosystem service provision for the development of climate adaptation strategies at the regional level. Further work has involved researching and conducting fieldwork in the mapping of community values for cultural ecosystem services.
