- PhD researcher
Franziska Komossa has been employed at the Environmental Geography Group, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, since 15 October 2015 as a PhD researcher focusing on the relation between landscape change and the availability of public goods. Her research is part of the PROVIDE project and conducted under the supervision of Prof. Peter Verburg and Emma van der Zanden.
Prior to her PhD, Franziska completed a MSc in Human Geography at Lund University, Sweden and a BSc in Technology Management at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. Franziska has an interdisciplinary background with a main focus on Business & Operations, Human Ecology and GIS.
