Strategic partners
As an established partner in environmental research projects IVM works within a network of strategic partners. Our collaboration with other institutes, funders and societal actors allows us to efficiently study and work on environmental issues on a global scale. Important partners are ECN, PBL and Deltares.

Energy research Centre of the Netherlands (ECN) researches the use of sustainable energy, energy conservation and clean use of fossil fuels. Examples are the solar cell module development, the wind farm aerodynamics and the second generation production of Green Gas from biomass. ECN’s mission is to develop high-level knowledge and technology for a sustainable energy system, which in turn get transferred to the market. ECN has been our partner on several occasions, including a recent project on renewable energy in Africa and a symposium on Copenhagen. ECN commissions our project on sustainable economic structures.
